The Powerslide Next Core 100 Black Skates arrived in style, giving us exactly what we want; a 3x100mm TRINITY mounted skate on a reasonably priced Powerslide Next boot.
The NEXT skate became an instant classic when it was released in 2018. A robust, comfortable hard shell boot, combined with Trinity-mount 3x100 frames, Powerslide Spinner wheels, Wicked ABEC 9 high-speed bearings and MYFIT Next Recall liners means this skate really does packs some punch.
There are plenty of custom options for you to tailor the skate to your ride style, too. Adjust the forward flex of your skate by cutting the "wings" off the buckle mechanism, flip the cuff between high and low configuration for different ankle support, make micro-adjustments to the frame to fix pronation or personalise your stride and heat mould the liners, perfectly shaping the inside lining to your foot and the outside lining to the shape of the shell (sort of like putting your foot into a big bag of rice).
Why is TRINITY good?
Trinity is an advanced frame mounting system with three contact points instead of two, lowering your centre of gravity (as the wheels are able to sit closer to the boot), reducing road vibrations and increasing power transfer. This makes the skate more stable, smooth and fast. The Trinity mount system works is great for 3x3 wheel set-ups as it reduces ride-height.

Brakes:
Powerslide Next skates do not come with a heel brake. If you wish, you can attach an aftermarket heel brake:
- For Next models with 4x 80mm, 3x 100mm or 3x 110mm wheels purchase the
- For Next models with 3x 125mm wheels purchase the (subject to availability)
